| Winter seems to have stopped here sortof. Temperature this am is 54F. Checked pond water temp in deep end about 18" down is only 55F. So the fish are still inside. Usually I put them in buckets and do the add pond water every 15 minutes for about an hour before releasing them to the pond but my indoor pond temp is 70F so that's quite a temp change. Think I'll try putting some of the pond water in their tanks today to see how that works and some of the fish water in the pond to help with bacteria/ammonia as may help.
This year's ponding has been frustrating with our cold spring! On the brighter side my lilies are finally starting to grow! |

| Jalal, that's a bummer and going by the long range weather report for your area, you are not about to warm up too soon. Keep mixing the water to equalize the temperature and the fish will be okay for the transfer. |

| Sorry Patty. We had a summer like that last year. Good to here your lilies are starting to grow. Hope things warm up soon. Lisa |

| Thanks Lisa and Horton. Yes temps aren't going up past 65F this next week according to the forcast. Pond temp at 5 pm today was 62F. Put some pond water in the indoor tanks just to help with any differences in chemistry. It's amazing how fast things start growing with a little sunshine! |

| Sorry to hear that Jalal. Maybe a few days of sunshine would help raise the water temperature? I just got my fish in the pond today (aquarium was about 70 and the pond was 66) but my delay was also because I was working on my waterfall. |
