Heron Chaser?

While watching this video today it occurred to me this may actually work to chase away herons!

Even if it doesn't work it is a very funny video:

Lol, I love cats but I have to admit it was a funny video. Actually there is already a device that does the same thing without technophobes playing with things they would do well to avoid. It is called a Scarecrow and is sold for about $50 to $70 depending on where you get it. I have one and have used it primarily for raccoons and herons. I have to admit there are many creatures, especially birds, that set it off deliberately just to enjoy a cool shower on a hot day.
