Full StoryHey Folks,
I have been lurking here for several years. We put in a small 400 gallon pond about 4 years ago. I have two issues. Liner is the typical rubber stuff and it seems my pond is always losing more water than it should from just evaporation. Second, I hate the black rubber liner showing (my pond is not very deep). Here's my question. I was mulling things over the other night and got to wondering about creating a liner for my pond from Rhino linings. You know, the stuff they spray on to line truck beds with. It'd be kinda pricey but it seems like it would hold water and be more durable than the silly rubber stuff and it's totally form fitting and it comes in various colors, like brown.
Anybody done this? I can't be the first person to think of this. Is it a TOTALLY stupid idea? Seems like it would work like a charm.
Thoughts? Concerns?
Many thanks in advance.
