I have tons of baby koi this morning....
3 koi spawned in the last few days and I gathered up all the floating plants and stuck them in our large stock tank and its been 3 days since the first one spawned and I see eyelashed size babies everywhere.

No pics?
Congrats! That sounds awesome!

RE: Baby Koi I added pictures

These babies are about 10 -11 days old (3 moms one black and red butterfly and one black and red standard and I don't know which one was the 3rd there were new eggs the next day)

RE: Baby Koi

wow congrats!! I've had a pond for several years now and we gave up on koi. We've lost so many to flying critters and raccoon it just wasn't worth it. After seeing a Raccoon dine on a $25 koi I said no more and now we only do gold fish lol Wish I had your luck with Koi. Congrats again! I'm jealous lol

RE: Baby Koi

I had to buy the 'cat scat' it is an ultrasonic repeller. I lost quit a few koi to the raccoons, I got it a couple of years ago and I haven't lost any since then. I don't have the big birds thankfully.
