I love my pond

I have had to stay out of the sun for the past month due to a tick bite (they are bad this year) and the resulting doxycylene - you can't go in the sun with that.

Today was the first day I have been in the sun and I was able to get my skippy filter going and the stream running. Oh, it was so nice to just sit there and enjoy and relax.

Last fall I moved all my fish to a friend's deeper pond for the winter, leaving one black fish in the pond because I couldn't see him to scoop him out.

He survived the winter as did a frog. It was so much fun to feed the fish and watch the frog. I'll have to pick up a couple of buddies for the lonely fish for the summer.

I still have a lot of cleaning up to do but it certainly is nice to be able to work in the yard again. Lots of weeds and lots of plants that need to be put in the ground.

RE: I love my pond

Glad you are feeling better after the tick bite. My daughter got bit a few years ago and contracted lyme disease. Fortunatly we detected it very early and it was successfully treated w/out any long term effects for her.

Enjoy your ponding.
