Hubs stumbled upon this scene in the wee hrs & took these pics w/his cell phone & flashlight. Wish he'd thought to grab the camera but...beggars can't be choosers, eh? (I was sleeping soundly at the time so no right to complain).

Waayyy out of focus but you get the picture (no pun intended). This is my second, and hopefully last, crop of toadpoles this spring. They only hit 2 puddles this time, last time it was all three. Hubs counted 14 adults the night he took the pics soooo...methinks we've exceeded our quota??? :0

The toads are cool, BUT I was hopin for a froggie or two :( *if you build it, they will come* just ain't holdin water here and I REALLY want some frogs!

Ah well...in the meantime, I'll just be content and enjoy what I've been blessed with.
