Flowers around the pond, please enjoy!

Took a few pictures in our yard, and thought I'd share the results. I concentrated on composure, trying some different backgrounds and effective use of the lighting. All manual focus. F/2.8, ISO and speed varied. Generally zoomed to 200mm.

2. This was a 2 day effort, this shot is the first morning.

3. Here is the second day of the same flowers.

5. This was the hardest picture to take, to make sure everything would be in the frame. I'm not sure if it worked, but I was trying to catch the 3 flowers. Thoughts?

I really like your first shot. The comp. is very nice and the out of focus background is teriffic. I like the yellow green contrast in pic 2 but I have never been a fan of those flowers. It is interesting to see how they develop however. Since you are asking for comments, my favorite picture is the purple lilly with the pads trailing off to the upper right (pic 1) in your other post (new pond pictures and life around it).

@ Chas, thanks for the comments. I like #1 as well. The Gerber Daisy's are my wifes favorite, so we have a number of them. I like the blooms, but boy are they water hogs!
