| I have decided to put in a small fountain rather than a pond. I will probably use a container to hold the pump that is smaller than a whiskey barrel. How do I know how many gallons it holds so I can figure the size pump I need? Harbor freight has a 66 gph on sale. How large a fountain would it accomidate? Thanks again. Vicci |

| I believe a full size whiskey barrel is about 55 gallons, so you can estimate it from there. I would think 66 GPH fountain pump would be adequate. Only one way to find out and that is to dive in , get your feet wet and build that fountain. good luck and post a pic of your efforts. |
