New pond progress w/photos

Here are some updated pics of recently dug pond. I got the "koi toilet1" installed today and concreted in place. I trenched the 4" line in during the week, and have added a pit by the garage with a ball valve below the frost line in case I need to shut the bottom drain off in the winter. I have help coming in the morning to hopefully install the liner, skimmer, and biofalls. Derek

It such a big project putting a pond together...but it sure is WORTH it!!! Mine is up and running and I'm out there morning> noon> and night!!! You'll be so happy with it!

Calamity your pond looks great. I really like the raised edges, and the arbor over the top.
We got the liner in our pond today, and started filling it with water. It was around 95 degrees today, so we decided to take the rest of the day off. We went to the Topeka, KS pond tour. We only had time to see 6 of the 10 ponds, but had a good time, and got some good ideas. Here are a few pics.

Nice Pics!!! What a great way to spend the day!!! I am going to find out if there is a pond group around here! Just think, You'll be on the tour next year!!!heh heh! One of my fish laid eggs and one of my pond lilies bloomed...always something going on! It's fun cuz everybody is stopping by to see it so I am having my own little pond tour!lol! It's been an exciting few weeks! Thanks for the pics and thinking of us!
