I have given my baby fish to the local Pet stores. They'd gladly take them, as they just sell them. I you can't sell, they will.

I either sell or give away my extras. Which I need to do desperately right now.

Pet stores here won't take them unless you have a dealer/business license.
At least I know my fish aren't carrying anything when I rehome them. Unlike some of the pet stores.

A local one here recently sold parasite infested fish to several customers that nearly whiped out the peoples ponds. And apparently knew there was a problem by what folks told me. The store was more than happy to sell these people the meds to take care of that problem.

Where in TX are u? Alot of us would be willing to help you out..I am in New Boston, just outside Texarkana.

When you notice your fish spawning, you may want to remove any plants that are in the pond, denying them places for the eggs to incubate. I also removed the rocks from my pond, and haven't seen a baby in the pond since!
