The product you need is called Thuricide and is available at lots of mail-order places, like the one below. Removing leaves helps too. Good luck...those darn things are nasty and you will have to invest a lot of time to get rid of them. I finally just turned my lily pond into another koi pond.

Sink the two lilies to the bottom and drown them.

Comettose... I *like* that idea! But I wonder how long it would take? I think I got most of them off by hand; the leaves look much better. I may sink them overnight and see what happens.

Thanks Scott and ccombs for the advice on Thuricide HPC. My local Walmart doensn't seem to have it. I looked in Home Depot but didn't have the name with me. I'll try that again and, of course, there's always mail order.

For a long time, I did like you, picking them off, one by one. Then I found the Thuricide HPC and have stuck with it. I have also tried a home-made concoction with dish soap and cooking oil and the other thing was mosquito dunks. The dunks are the wrong kind of BT.
