I've seen a gargoyle one that the water came out of a staff it was holding.

Oh, I love the gargoyle one!!! However, my BF hates gargoyles, even the ones on the church in town. I have seen one of an angel pouring water from a jug at Lowes that isn't too ugly.

Well, against my better judgment, I bought a turtle spitter today. Its a bigger spitting turtle with a smaller spitting turtle on its back. I'm hoping to hide it under a hosta by the pond, so its not real obvious. I just want to better aerate the water. Right now, I just have a little bubbler and wanted to try something different. A few years ago I had a "deer scarer"-type thing. Its a big bamboo tube that just drips water into the side of the pond.
This turtle spitter was only $15, so I'm hoping it will be fine for awhile. I've just never felt good about lots of water coming out of anything's mouth. haha
