Finally lots of Frogs

| Hi all. I have had very few Frogs for the last 3 years. I have been relocating the Bull Frogs for a few years now but still had very few other Frogs. This year I can count at least 15 at a time in my little 600 gal pond. Lots of little ones in variuos sizes and colors, all in the Green Frog family (I hope). I have tons of native plants growing in and around the pond so i'm not sure how many Frogs I really have.Still no tadpoles for the 4 th year now. The only thing different this year is that we have had more rain and so far not one adult Bull Frog has shown up. The bog down the road does not seem to show any signs of change. What has brought all the little frogs this year? |

| JUst this past week I have noticed lots of little toads and leopard frogs. We have had more rain than normal also. |

| I would think the rain too. Frogs go exploring when it rains and your new frogs seem to like your pond too much to leave. :) Lisa |

| We have some spotted ones and have had bullfrog tadpoles for a year now and one is starting to develop legs. Are you saying you relocate the bullfrogs to another area? |

| No I just take them to a marsh a little further down the road. It's off the same lake. |

congrats on your frogs -- we had 5 different
frogs by using a little water from the lake
after the frost free date |

| When I went to get my supply of free mosquito eating minnows x the City for my small pond, I saw two polywogs in the water & got them with the minnows & put all in my pond. Now what happened to those polywogs in my pond? I don't see them or any little frogs in the water? Darn, I was hoping to hear those critters at night in the back yard!! |

| when I went frog catching this week I actually caught a TEAL frog, I kid you not, but i went fishing afterward and they all got out of the bucket, every frog I caught again except for that dang teal frog and I know no one will believe me. |
