| Or rather, what time are they supposed to open? I have a Wood's White Knight that opens up sometime at night (at least after 10 PM, I have yet to see it in the process of opening!). It is open through the morning and closes up around noon.
Does this seem late? Are there other varieties that open earlier? I'd ideally like to find one that opens around 6-7 PM so I can enjoy it in the evening. My pond is in shade from 4 PM on, so I don't think late afternoon direct sun is an issue... --Samantha |

| Different times for different species in different zones. When I lived in Florida, I had a Juno that opened up late after dark and stayed open till 11:00am in the morning. Victorias open right after dark but don't stay open long after daylight. Of course, not many people have room for a Victoria water lily in their pond. |

| I have Trudy Slocum. It opens up late afternoon/early evening, a little after I get home from work, but before dark. It's a great bloomer with huge, huge blossoms. |
