We need pollinators, and they increasingly need us too. Here, why and how to be a bee friend
Full StoryI acquired a house that had had a small working pond at one time. It is a preformed, kidney bean shaped pond. It is about 2 feet wide and 4 feet long. Its roughly 2-3 feet deep. I've tried to get all the debris out, but its still dirty water. I was given some water iris to place in the pond. I also just purchased a TetraPond FK5 Filtration Fountain Kit. I have it installed and on, but the fountain feature doesn't work correctly. It has small streams instead of a bell shape. I've loosened and tightened the fountain head, but nothing looks like how it's supposed to look. Any advice on how to fix it or getting the old pond restarted?
