Miscommunication

Ten minutes ago:

Me: I'm going out to the pond to clean the filter.

He: George passed on. His mother is out there.

Me: HUH?

He: George passed on. His mother is out there.

Me: HUH? I don't know what you mean.

He: (very slowly) Do it fast. There are bugs out there.

Me: HAHAHAHA

I swear he said, "George passed on. His mother is out there."

On a happy note, I finally have a lily flower bud surfacing.

My husband also has this problem when he forgets to wear his hearing aids-he comes up with some very funny lines that he hears. AND he complains that I mumble. I don't, he can't hear and when I ask if he has on his
"ear rings" (cause they do ring) he says no. Old age is a b---ch and I guess it will be me someday.

Too funny! Prolly not a good sign that this reminds me of frequent convos with hubs, huh? At least now I know it's not just me. Thanksomuch...seriously needed a chuckle this evening. Expectin' a pic of that bloom when it opens:)

More white is showing on the bud. Hopefully it will open this weekend and I can get a shot of it.
