| Ok, if you already knew that than good for you. But I was watching the little garden pond this evening, just vegging out and meditating over the goldfish and bugs and such... when I spied a snail leave a plant stem, glide onto the bottom of the surface tension of the water, and glide about three full inches (at his standard snail's pace) to another stem. I Googled it out and sure enough....

| Yes, I was also surprised when I saw it in my pond. They are such swimmers, aren't they? :-) |

| LOL, They travel best upside down on the surface tension if they have a bubble under their shell for buoyancy. Now that is funny. Also when they try to climb the sides of a bubble. It just keeps spinning around and the poor snail gets nowhere. Sometimes I have way too much time on my hands. |
