You are very welcome. I hope they turn into big fat koi for you. It was a pleasure meeting both of you. I transferred my lotus to a pot that doesn't drain per your advice. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed. Let me know if I can give you a hand with your pond. I'm not an expert, but can offer my help if you need it. I can't wait to see it.

I was thinking about ur aphid problem, why dont you just toss all those lettice in your black rubber made tub or a bucket and try to drown the aphids off the lettuce leafs?

Does anyone know if Jenny still has koi she wants to "rehome". My 88 yr. old father has a large pond he would like to add a few koi to.
