Pond/Stream/Falls Lighting Experiences and Suggestions

I am looking to upgrade my pond lighting. Presently I have half a dozen accent lights(10 watts around the pond and one 50 watt illuminating the falls/stream. The pond is 6' X 12', 2' - 3' deep, stream is 8' long X 2'wide and shallow, falls have about an 16" drop. It's pleasant to sit around in the evenings but would like a little more interest/pizaz but am bewildered by all that are available, LED, Halogen, low voltage, etc. Would be interested in both submersible to view the fish (without totally freakin them out) pond fountain lights or other suggestions. Wife says don't get overly extravagant $$$ wise and I think we all know who rules the roost but I can be persuasive if need be. Pictures would be great but all suggestions, good or bad experiences is appreciated. Thanks to all those who got me all knowed-up on filtering and/or neutralizing my Chlorine/Chloramine situation.

That's funny Mike! your pond sounds very similar to the one I'm building except mines a little smaller and deeper! I just posted a similar question on another forum!
