I built / They came!

Hello All!

I built my little MoToad 6 and waited patiently for the frogs to arrive.

I waited and waited and ... mosquito larvae arrived.

I waited some more.

Saw a squirrel taking a drink.

FINALLY there were tadpoles. They weren't eating the mosquito larvae. I read up on it. Some eat mosquito larvae, some don't. Great! *I* have vegetarian tadpoles! Went ahead and got some dunks which just arrived.

But I've also seen something else in there the last two days. I read the archives trying to identify them.

They are darker than the mosquito larvae and not as ... wiggly. Move very slowly and not jerky ... but, deliberately. They do not have tails like the tadpoles. They SEEM to be rectangular shaped, but are SO tiny, I can't tell.

What do you think they are? Dragonfly larvae? We have lots of them flying around. Something else?

I await your wisdom.

P.S. As SOON as I get my pond gussied up, I'll post a pic.
