What waterfall pump should I buy ?

My Clear submersible Clear Waterfall Pump by Pacific Hydrosta, 1/6 HP, Flow Rate 1855 GPH) broke down. I've not used this pump more than 5 X. It was powerfall and we had to somewhat close off the flow on the see through plastic pipe. I'm not sure if I've written this right.

I call my pond a hole in the ground because it's that small. Of course no fish just added some water. Now I need a new pump and don't know what to get. I used rocks to keep the pump down in the water but now you can see it. Is there a different way or different pump I can buy? I kept the plastic pipe where the water goes through. I've to do this on my own and I'm not the youngest any longer but love to hear the sound of the water.
Please, I need some help. Thank you so much.

sorry about my wording. It's called a tubing not a plastic pipe. I'm so new at the pond subject. I should add that I could probably buy a less powerfull pump. Can I ask if the Pacific Hydrosta Pump are a good one ? Someone sold me this pump in not a new box and I paid $ 149 for it. When I searched there were many cheaper pumps available.

I assume it is hydrostar since that is the only thing that comes up in a search. Haven't heard of them. Did 5X mean five times for a day each, or five years, or something else? It might be good to at least have a guess as to the size of your 'hole'. One foot diameter? Three feet? How deep etc.

I have had a Pondmaster magnetic pump for about 6 years and it is easy to use, easy to repair (only one part to replace) and I love it. I don't know what model you would need - it would depend on how high you are pumping the water I guess - but Pondmaster makes lots of different strengths of pump.

I don't know why your pump would be showing, but mine stays in the bottom of the pond where it belongs.

A pump that is clogged with debris might float. They are usually too heavy. Do you have a prefilter attached?
