| I recently built a 20" container fountain using a solar pump. I'd like to add some water plants to it.
What plants would be suitable for this smaller type of container pond? Should I be adding certain plants to help keep the water clean? Thanks! |

| Pretty much anything, actually. I have containers with taro, umbrella palms, aquatic iris, even small water lilies. Floaters, like water hyacinth, also do well in pots. |

| Fairy moss (azolla) is one of my favorites; a little floating plant. Another floater that would be good in a small container (and it flowers) is frogbit. |
