Hello folks, been a while. zone 5 W. Mi. my 500 gal pond.
Yesterday I noticed the pump had quit..cleaned it out and was fine the rest of the day. Sometime overnight it pumped out nearly all the water. I do not believe this is related. I found the leak at the top part of the waterfall, out of heavy plastic for a temp fix so I used a garbage bag. Went out and all the fish were near the top gulping air. I turned off the pump again. Question could a garbage bag be toxic? I have replace water slowly all day and they have been fine until now. I need advise. Have 2 air pumps in there.......
