Today, I planted a few more things down at the pond including variegated liriope and a variegated false holly. Here are a few pix of the progress of our koi pond as of today, August 2nd. The philodendron is nearly as old as I am. It belonged to my grandmother, then my parents and we have had it for at least 22 years. It loves it by the pond.

Thank you! I am enjoying it (when i'm not weeding, watering, moving plants around and re-potting things that float out of their pots after a heavy rain. LOL!). It's a learning experience and experiment. I have learned so much from these forums.

Thank you! Was just pricing pond vacuums. It will be a while before I can afford one but with the overhanging trees and the dry summer, I already am getting as many leaves out as I can. This fall, I won't be able to keep up with them!
