You did a great job. What a wonderful site for that cascading stream. Lovely rocks - how often do you see your chiropractor? LOL

LOL, Anne. That was one of my first thoughts too. Took my a year to find enough rock just to do the pond itself.

Lori, you did a fine job. I don't see any problems with it. I do know that if you are like me, you will be forever 'tweaking' it. Love the waterfall/stream.

hehehe, i got all the rocks from a local stream/river. it took about 2 months of going a few times a week. i'm lucky because the river is real close to the road so i basicly just had to bring them up the bank and load them.. my son helped with the really big ones. some we had to just roll and flip up the bank and them have three of us load them...

but i had alot of fun. i'm making another pond on the top of the bank. that is why you see alot of big rock just laying up there. i will post pics once i'm done with it..

thank you all so very much..

Nice pond. What is that long black cord running up along your waterfall? The reason I'm asking is because in earlier posts you had inquired about pump suggestions for your pond. How many gals is it? It looks small from the pics probably a submersible pump is your best bet. Nice butterfly koi in the picture. How are you planning on overwintering? I would make a bet that within a couple of years you will want to build a bigger pond cause from your posts you've caught the pond bug!! Koi need at least 100 gals each minimum--although "koi" keepers on other forums will say 1000 gals each-although alot of that depends on your filtration. I think a bigger pond is easier to maintain and lets you have more plants and fish. I'm not looking forward to our impending winter and moving my fish indoors but my winters are just too cold to run the pond during the winter. Happy ponding. Patti
