Yep. Also the volunteers from my neighbors of English ivy, Virginia creeper, and lemon balm.
I was already fighting the plants that were here when we moved in. Winter creeper, red-buds, trumpet flower and lots of thistle of all varieties. Add to that the overgrown snow balls, the diseased dogwoods and thorn trees. I found some 47% glyphosphate that I hope will do the job at long last.

The birds have brought in catalpa, lots of barn grasses , nut sedge, sorghum and milkweed.

I've given up on dealing with most of the invasives on our 35 acres. Its just futile. But I'm hoping to nip the northern oats in the bud. But the birds have probably cast them all over the county by now.
I'm trying to take a different approach to all the invasives (bush honeysuckle, green briar, vines of all different sorts, russian olive, brambles......you name it, we got it.) With stuff from other countries coming in all the time, and taking over, we just won't get ahead of it. So.........I'm trying to have a more Zen approach, and appreciate what it brings. Hmmmm......let me think on that awhile..........
