RIP: my friendly frog.

This guy has been the primary resident of my pond for 4 or 5 years. I'm fairly confident it's the same one year to year since he never jumps when I come near and even lets me touch him lightly before jumping into the water. I noticed this year that his/her front leg was injured, although healed, but it did not seem to effect feeding or most normal activities.

Sadly after sharing our pond the nearby road became the final resting place.

Just for a little perspective... These pics were taken with my cell phone, not a zoom lens. He/she was the main attraction in my pond.

Awww...so sorry. What a cutie he was. I hope you get another frog. You sound like such a caring person, and there is a froggy out there that needs a good home like yours.
