| Dianne, your photos are lovely. I wish I had your touch. I agree with you about the old timers helping the newbies. It seems to be a tradition here that I have benefited from immensely. The people who are pretenders or have no sense of humor don't seem to last long but those who are genuinely interested in learning and sharing keep coming back. I know I always feel like I am visiting friends. The hat would confuse my fishies, too. I had my hair cut short recently and had the same experience until I sat in my usual chair and picked up the food jar. That always gets their attention. |

| My comets always come for food where I normally feed them but if I come back from my auxilary pond and try to give extra food from the other side of their pond, which is very rare, they hide. |
