Now that is precious. I'm a bit envious and not just for the pond.

Catherine, do you have an I-pad? ... if so, enlarge the pic and you'll
see him! He is difficult to spot, cause he blends into the background
    so well.

    Hi Joann,
I don't have an iPad, but I was able to enlarge the pic quite a bit and still don't see it. Could you tell me approximately where its at?
Are bears a common sight there? Are they black bears?

  • catherinet

Okay.....I think I might see it......under those bushes to the right?
Is it possible its just a black dog?

    Where's Waldo? haha
Do you think its just the dark shade under those bushes that just happens to look like a bear.........or do you (Joann and Craigger) have a good enough resolution that you can actually see a bear's features? Sorry to be obsessed with this, but I want to see the bear! haha

Okay........if its off to the right of Cliff and grandson, I'm thinking its a dog......like a black Akita.......with ears sticking up and fluffy tail.
    I know, I know.............catherinet.......get a life. hahaha

Actually...I was only joking about a bear.

LOL! You know.......I did wonder if you were just joking when you first posted it. But Joann's reaction seemed sincere. But.....there still does look like a black dog over to the right.
I thought it would be pretty unusual to have a bear there.
    You got me Craigger! :)

My husband and I had a good laugh this morning when I told him about it.......since I had asked him the other day to help me find it. He said "tell them, in the picture we found the abominable snowman, an image of Jesus, and the Virgin Mary........but no bear. :)

Well now... I wasn't going to mention the abominable snowman,
but since you have Catherine... Yeti is a frequent backyard
winter visitor; only when it snows though...

Can you see him, or is Craigger the only one with an eagle eye
    around here?

  • catherinet

Well, I can't see the Yeti, but I do see the bear! :)
