| Aphids! |
|
| Oh no, I haven't seen them on any of the nearby plants. How do I kill them? Flush them off the pads with a garden hose? Thanks, |
|
| That is what i would try first because you dont want to use chemicals in your pond. Do you have fish also? |

| bugsb: Thanks for that great video! Love your pond. I'm in Bakersfield also, what part of town are you in? My pond is much smaller, I only have 1 goldfish, don't really want much more than that, maybe 1 more. I prefer only plants. Will water drown the aphids, or will they just jump onto my other floating plants if I hose them off the lily pads? |

| If you wash them off the pads, the fish will eat them ;-) |

| I am in the southwest. Near White Lane and Stine. Thanks for the compliment on the pond. It is much nicer now than the website depicts. Those photos were taken 5 years ago. My grandson made the website for the pond and I need to update it. If you are out my way and want to see it let me know. Always glad to show it off. |
