Pond Armor (sealer) vs Pond liner

Hi,

I am in the middle of building a concrete pond. I wanted the natural look, so used mortar, concrete, blocks to build with. I have a 200 gallon pond which has a waterfall of about 8' to a 600gallon pond. I just had a bad experience using pond armor, as it was very difficult tp use/apply. The question is, should I be looking at drylok or thoroseal or should I just bite the bullet and put pond liners in. I spent considerable effort mortaring the walls, concreting the floors with rebar etc so reluctantly want to use a pond liner at this point, but if the other sealers are similar and expensive, I may as well go with the liner.

Thanks
