I got a few lotus seed off eBay and there are more than I want to plant at this time. I only have so much room in my greenhouse for planting some seed this fall and overwintering them. I've heard the stories about lotus seed being found and germinated hundreds of years later, but I was just wondering what are considered ideal conditions to store the seed over the winter with the least effect on germination in the spring of 2011. I would assume a simple cool, dry, dark location would be best.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
