Can you believe this?

I took this pansy picture yesterday because I couldn't believe these guys were still blooming. I planted them in March!

I guess you can tell we didn't have a summer to speak of this year. Pansies usually die off by July.

Many pansies bloom in the fall after they have rested all summer. It is necessary to dead head them though. Sandy

Sandy,

But this particular pansy had been blooming all through the summer. It never stopped. I'd see it every weekend as I was mowing the lawn. I thought it was because our "summer" up here never really happenend.

Love pansies. Near Albany NY where I grew up we had alot of them raised. Always marveled at them with snow on them in the spring.

Here in Florida they are just now arriving at the stores to plant for the winter. They will be growing until June.

Guess your long spring like season was just what your Pansy liked.
