Baby koi

User

I had a power outage in May and lost four of my 20 year old koi. I was heartbroken but so excited a few months later to see the most beautiful baby koi I ever had. I think there were six but the friendliest were three yellow headed ones. The others were smaller and darker and didn't feed where I stood. They grew so fast and zipped around at incredible speed. Now they are gone. We had rainy inclement weather here for a long time . I was feeding the koi but just throwing it in, not hand feeding. The pond is netted and these koi were so fast. They were 2-3 inches long. Is it possible the bigger koi ate them? Most of my real big ones died but I have two or three foot long ones. But they swim so slow and these guys were so fast. There are plastic milk crates on the bottom with plants on them so they have a place to get away. I'm sad.
