Is this feasible for my pond?

Saw these plants at the Long Beach aquarium. I'm wondering how to grow them in my pond. I think they are grown in a heavy barrel, to prevent tip over by wind. Can you guys ID what this plant is?

It's a mangrove tree, possibly red mangrove. How big is your ponds surface?

7' x 15', maybe a dwarf mangrove will do?
