Hello Ponders,
With fall coming soon, I am getting a few things together in readiness for the falling leaves and colder weather.
I do have a couple questions though. I know we want to remove all the leaves from lilies, and other plants from the pond before winter. But what exactly do I do with the hornwort? Do I pull it all out or can it overwinter in the pond without causing any troubles with the fish?
Also is it best to cut the stems of marginals just ABOVE the water level or below? I have Pickerel Weed, Arrowhead, Bog Bean, and Pennywort along the edges.
Thanks to all,
Vickie
