Building my own Water feature

| I can't afford the expensive commercial water features. I built my own feature by stacking up wrongs, but it just doesn't look that great. Would love some comments.
I'm thinking about making a pondless concrete feature. Something stark, but eye catching. I'm playing with the idea of using those tubes you use to build concrete pilings and staining it. It would be a cylindrecal feature about 24-36 inches high with the water coming out the top and cascading down the sides into a hidden reservoir. has anyone tried something like this; how do you think it would look. |

| Sure, it's done all the time. You'll need a reservoir to hold water, a pump in the reservoir, some sort of feature for the water to cascade over with the appropriate plumbing, and support for the feature and camoflage to hide the reservoir. Look up "bubbler" on the web and you should find some examples. |

| In the "Search" box above, type in pondless and it will pull up alot of past posts. There are pictures and advice, althought they may not be exactly what you are looking for, but it will help you think of ways to go about your project. |

| didn't even think about trying a "pondless" search. I went to Lowes today to look at their cement tubes. I think my idea could come out awesome; and because the cost would be low, so what if it turns out to be a bad idea. I already have all the pumps, reservoirs, etc I need. |
