| In October we had a pond put in our yard. I love it. I wish I had more time to enjoy it before it closed. We have 3 Koi in it..2 large, 1 small. We stopped feeding a month ago. I sometimes see the 2 down the bottom. They are looking smaller to me. Do they lose weight during this time? |

| they do lose weight during the winter, but not that quickly. If they went into their winter fast at a healthy weight, they may only be a tiny bit thinner looking in the spring. The exception to this is if they absorbed their eggs. That will make their abdominal area look noticeably slimmer. |
