There Was Something At My Pond

It was yelling loud I looked couldnt see but never heard this what was it.It sounded kinda like Dole wa,dolewa dole wa,kept doing this over and over like it was calling its mate,I tried to look this was in the middle of the nite.I dont recognize the call.

We think it was wild turkey,now that I think of it ,it does sound like turkey.

They do make a lot of noise, so I guess it could have been a turkey. Better that than something that is going to raid the pond.

I would have expected them at dawn or dusk rather than in the middle of the night. Do you suppose there is something getting into their roost?

Could've been a wild turkey. My first thought was a peacock. Man, those things are loud!
