| Well its almost December and my parrot feather has yet to die off. Its actually still growing in the ice cold water. My question is For removal do I cut the runners off and remove from the water or do I just rip it out by the handfulls? This is the first year that I have had it in the pond. It has actually done remarkabley well. It tripled in size. Any suggestions on how to remove it would be great. I have pulled all the dead pads from the lilies and cut down my cat tails for the year. I figured when this would start to die off I would remove it. Its still going strong. Any advice would be great. I know I am going to need to get it done in the next few days as they are calling for snow. Yeah that dreaded 4 letter word.

| I just pull some of mine and sink the rest. Enough survives the winter at the bottom and then comes back in the Spring. Mine is still green too despite an October blizzard! Tough little plant! |
