Congrats, Mary. In this economy it is nice to be able to sell your house. It's also wonderful when the buyers like what you have done. Are you taking bets on which child will be the first to fall in the pond? hahaha

Well of course it sold easy, an attractive feature like a garden pond is going to be a perky thing for the new owners to look forward to, certainly the sort of thing that upwardly mobile folk might aspire to

One can only wonder why some folk might be sceptical about a pond as a feature, perhaps there are folk out there who don't know how to do it! hehe

The lady we bought this house from (7 yrs ago)was very helpful. She left detailed instructions and supplies. She took the time to show me how to do everything from cleaning to shutting it down for the winter and getting it up and running in the spring. I promissed her I would treat her fish as any family pet and care for them the best I could. I still have most of the fish she left. She said several of them were 5 yrs old meaning they are 12years old now. The few that I have lost have been replaced with thier babies. I could tell how much she hated leaving them. I fell in love with them right away. If you take the time to show them how important the pond has been to you I'm sure they will love it to! I hope you don't have to be pondless for long!
