Hi
I'd think it would be far better to locate some in Europe?? They are quite common in the US but exporting usually gets too expensive.
Any water gardener groups in Romania?? They should be a source close to home ?? gary

A small envelope containing seed, which has no customs restrictions would only cost a few bucks to travel to Europe.

Water Hawthorn seed would have to be packed damp to keep it viable

Dear Gary

These plants are not to be found in Romania for dear life.
I had located a source in GB, but they want paypal card- which i do not have, and worst, most of Europe does not accept e-customers from Romania due to our damn banking system.

Trust me, i wish these plants realy bad.

If you can change your local currency to dollars, usually easy to do at a bank, travel agent, I'm very sure you can obtain what you wish if you (ahem) find someone willing to do such a transaction.

Water Hawthorn seed is usually available through the cooler months in America, the seed continues to form in coolish 40's-60's waters.

Water Hawthorn seed needs to be kept moist and started as soon as possible, you might find it starts well in a bowl of water indoors window at frost free, cooler than room temperatures through Winter in Rumania, to plant out a few weeks after your last frost
