| Oh, you have warmed my heart, it's lovely! Beautiful lily, and fish. Just what I needed - we've had 10" of new snow and it's finally warmed up to 25F. My pond is mostly under a snow bank :( |

| Oh, that is so lovely and inviting!!! We also have lots of snow.. It rained for 2 days then snowed for 1 day. Yesterday the temps were in the high 30's F. and today it is about 8 F. And windy. So.. looking at your pond is heart warming. Does it snow in any parts of Australia? |
| it does not snow here it southeast qld. but many parts of australia it does. Not as cold and as hard and as long as usa though. winter temps here in qld ...5-24. summer temps 20-38 C hot and humid. |

| Very nice pics, Mazela- beautiful lilies. Did I see all goldfish, or are any of them koi? And just out of curiosity- what are the primary birds that are a threat to your fish in Qld? (PS- you guys got lucky against West Indies...) |
| They are all goldfish.Koi in Qld are illegal( although i suspect people keep quiet if they have them. You can have them just over the border in NSW . When i get better photos of my babies i will post them. Threats here to goldfish are kookaburras and egrets (or cormorants) but mostly kookaburras as we know only too well. Its quite disturbing to feed kookaburras by hand and then later on see one of your prized babies disappearing down their gullet. As for the cricket we played for the win there. And we have just beaten Pakistan by 170 after 2 declarations ( thats what hubby says word for word) |
| I'm smiling to myself, as I am sure that we have lost the majority of our listening audience with your last line :-) There is something ironic about the fact that when I think Kookaburra, I think of the brand name of all of my cricket bats, while you see it as a menace to your fish. Can't wait to see the other pics- please post as soon as you get the chance. (And tell your hubbie that I'll be watching for the 1-day series next month :-)) |
