anti virus and spyware

I did it again. I posted this on the wrong forum. I am going to try to get it off of the Discussion Forum.

I would like to know if you have a virus program or spyware program that you like.

We have Nortons virus and Webroot Spy Sweeper. Before we sign up with them again, I would like to know if you have any that you like. How about Defender?

    I've used AVG (free) antivirus for several years and love it. It updates automatically and scans daily. Never had a problem.
    I also use Spybot in addition to the MS defender spy ware program. Again no problems.

    I know very little about computer protection, but my computer son put Norton and Spybot on my computer. They have both worked fine--no problems.
