We'll be lucky if there are any magnolias blossoms come Spring a few were in bloom so many fat buds I fear will fall off come the cold next week. Bees everywhere sad so many new Queens must have come out of dormancy & established hives. Theres a link at the end for more shots.

I love your flowering apricot shot and that "cherries 4444 " is an absolute stunner!!!!!
Great shots as usual ! You may not lose those buds as apparently you guys are having a mild winter due to the el nino (the same one thats taken all our rain) The el nino is pushing all your expected cold air into Canada so maybe no snow this year?

False or not, those are the most beautiful spring photos Joe! The FloweringApricot222 is breathtaking and I just love the snowdrops. How nice for you that you got the exercise you needed and photo opps at the same time - although you've proven time and again that you and your camera can capture beauty just about anywhere, anytime. But it certainly does make one worry about these plants for the rest of the winter, doesn't it. Strange winter...so very, very strange.

Those are very nice Joe. I'm particularly fond of the bluescape lamppost.

Glad to hear you're feeling better!

Joe, You are getting our weather and us yours, don't like it, tee-hee! Anyway, to backs, I am so glad you are walking. I SWEAR by it for backs. My back was an Xray mess. I am walking now every day. It feels so strong, and I feel all round healthy.

Good luck, take care!

Beautiful pictures. It has been an unusual winter, hasn't it?

Nothing like spring in the air to make a fellow want to go walking. Great for the back for sure.

Your pictures are amazing. I have spring fever so bad this year, I am anxious to get out and start my new garden in my new yard, I really want a cherry tree to get those beautiful blossoms. I also love to see the bees buzzing around the plants, another sight I long to see.

Thanks for the wonderful journey.

Looks like everything is 4-6 weeks ahead...that is where we are. The peach farmers are VERY nervous.

Really? Back when I had a winter blooming apricot (before it got black knot and I had to take it down) it ususally bloomed in early February... and occasionally as early as late January.

The pictures really are lovely. What make/model camera?

Joe, thanks for sharing the lovely pictures. You certainly have a gift. Looks like winter's back here in Northern Michigan. I just drove home through blinding snow and the temperature is down to 20, and due to get colder as the week goes on. Now that's more like January!
