| My daughter has cats, and one has very dry skin. Do any of you have remedies that you like for dry itchy skin on cats? We have dogs, so I am not sure what the problem would be with cats. She is looking for something for the food, and thinks there is nothing to put on the fur directly.
Any suggestions? Sammy |

| my cats love olive oil the lick it off the back of my hands the itchy scally skin on a cat can be food allergies a lot of commercia brands are packed with fillers and additives. Petey used to have almost bleeding scabby skin till I switched him to an all organic and curiously cheaper food after 5 years of trips to different vets and all kinds of salve ointments and steroids he's got normal skin. Flax seed oil added to the food could also help. |

| Some of the "prescription" and high-end cat foods have lamb as their main component. We found those really helped to improve our cat's coat. |

| Evangers makes an organic food that they all like and it was cheaper than all of the loaded with extra goodies foods we were buying them. |

| Thank you so much. She and her husband are between vegetarians and vegans - they haven't completely switched yet. So anything organic or natural is what they would like. Sammy |
