| We must have at least 20 birdhouses around our property but the squirrels and woodpeckers ruin them so we painted 4 new ones this year.
I used to paint nice scenes on them but now I just stencil----the birds don't care !!! LOL LOL

| Florence, those are great. Is THAT what happened to the entrance to the house in your Love Story post, I'd wondered! Birds are showing some interest in nesting here. I watched a chickadee going in and out of one of the nest boxes just yesterday - no grass or moss in its mouth yet though. Sparrows are trying to claim the swallow houses already so I've temporarily blocked the openings to those - darned sparrows, and such noisy rude little things :) Squirrels - we don't have, only an occasional chipmunk. And a too large population of racoons. |

| Patrick---I'm happy you hand is well enough to type. I've never seen a bluebirs on my property ---they are a few miles north of us.. We do have a lot of great birds-----Cardinals--goldfinch---Nuthatch---tuted Titmouse----etc etc. Florence |

| Florence those are great birdhouses!!! Do you or your husband make them? I think those are wonderful. Thanks so much for showing us a picture of them. I'm sure they will make many little bird families very happy. |
