This azalea is called (sp)---Schlep-in-bachii It is a very delicate pink and I think rather rare---
It blooms early right after the Magnolia--the picture doesn't do it justice

Just thought I would share a touch of spring

close-up

and another early bloomer---very fragrant---the rest of the azaleas are just coming out

this is (sp) Pouk-in-en-sis

and this is apple blossom just starting to bloom--this is from last year

Happy Spring,

Florence

Very pretty. Is it a Deciduous Azalea?

Here is a link that might be useful: Deciduous Azalea

These are really gorgeous pictures, and the first azalea is so interesting; it looks like some kind of species azalea. It has such a delicate look.

Thanks Florence. My 50 azaleas are just getting started. I like your preview.

Very beautiful. I would love to see many more. The pale pink is lovely.
