hey Michael, I meant to say I loved it! I've got a bunch of Cousins who live in Dubai as well ... there are a lot of Sri Lankan's there. That building sure is impressive. One of my cousins works for this company that has a line of luxury hotels and she sent me pictures a while back - the sheer over luxury of the place was amazing.

That is amazing!

Sorry, MAT, my stupid connection has been so slow recently it's hard to even post, lol.

I have an uncle who is half Saudi who lives there for months a year working for the US. That's another gorgeous spot that folks may not have seen pics of.

Aprille - my brother's ex-fiancee was Sri Lankan!! Great gal, and such a gorgeous place as well. I always think of thr Duran Duran videos made there, lol.

Yep, it's turning into quite a place. I recently read that over 200 buildings, each fifty stories or higher are currently under construction. Instant world class city. It's amazing.

No debt either. It's all equity. People from all over the world are "assuming the risk" and buying, developing, putting up their own money. No speculation, they want to be there.

It's nice to see something so positive in such a region associated with so much bleak news.
