| Hi Rosy Friends,
So many of us struggle with issues health or otherwise that make it difficult for us. For me its my pain issues and some of the side effects from my back disease that can make it difficult to do the gardening and stuff I enjoy. I've had a bad week, today will fall into a good day because I got to go outside and enjoy my roses. Saturday was our anniversary and the spasms and pain were so bad I couldn't celebrate with my husband. He's so great, he didn't even complain when he got a weeping wife instead of a happy, snuggly wife on our anniversary! He even brought Blue Girl into our room so that I could smell the blooms and enjoy my gift. There are good days, there are bad days, and there are days that shouldn't be mentioned! In my book, a good day is one that I get to do something I enjoy even for just a little while. Coming to the rose forum and reading everyones posts makes it a definitely better! It was long ago when I posted a pain thread that seemed to be a good place to share. If anyone needs to talk about their problems, again - I am happy to be here to listen. I also want to say thank you to all of you for being there for me and eachother during the hard times. The support and friendship I have found here over the years has been a strength in my life. Thank you!! Rosy Hugs (((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))) Carlota |

| When I had a bad bad cold last month I layed on a blanket and just looked up at the rose foliage and buds. The garden is a good place to be when you are feeling down. I also got to read all the older posts I missed when I was busy. Hope you have more good days than bad and go do something nice for your DH when you feel better. |

| Carlota, thank you for sharing your story. I, too, have found the Rose Forum to be a place that has helped me through difficult times. It's been very supportive for me, and has meant a lot to me to be here through the many years. I visit the Forum every day, for hours a day. There are many special people here, and they've helped me deal with life's difficult times, and illness. |

| Hi Carlota---I know what it is like to have a lot of pain--I can't do much gardening anymore but the roses seem to be rewarding me with some lovely blooms this year-- but you are so young and have a wonderful life---Hopefully you will be able to enjoy a special day with your DH with less pain . Please keep us posted about your progress--- Florence

| It always makes me sad to read about one of my rosey friends being in pain. I know how much joy a single rose bloom can bring and I am sorry you have to miss one moment of that. I hope and pray you will find some relief from your condition soon. A late anniversary celebration can be better than one that was planned. A surprise anniversary might be nice. :-) Valerie |

| Yes, when we are not feeling well the good memorable moment of life is always remembered in our mind. Then this good time of life give us joy and happiness when we are sad. |
